Spending a great proportion of his youth teaching
himself how to play multiple instruments, BADEO
showed early signs of an innate talent for all
things musical; a quality that would propel him

towards a true affinity for groove & percussion-
focussed music that traverses a wide array of BPMs

and genres. A lover of eclectic sounds from all

corners of the underground, BADEO is a self-
identified “techy” producer who harnesses his deep

knowledge of music production software to craft
tracks that are both unique and innovative. This
approach being the distinguishing characteristic
his sound, with notable releases for Berg Audio,
his co-run Dolphin Flips imprint and on his
personal Bandcamp.

Not limited to DJing and production, BADEO is also
an adept studio musician and bassist in several
projects, including the surf-rock band The
Eyeballers. This connection to traditional music
profoundly shapes his style, allowing him to draw
from a rich array of influences that fuel both his
productions and dynamic DJ sets.
 

Beyond his artistic endeavours, BADEO is a full-
time educator within the Melbourne underground

scene, nurturing emerging talent through 1:1
mentoring and his online communities. He is deeply
committed to elevating local artists, helping them
forge connections within the scene and create
lasting impacts on the music landscape. With a
significant collection of high-quality music to
his name and more permanently on the near horizon,
BADEO remains both one to watch and one to learn
from.
