Hailing from Naarm (Melbourne), Ekzander guides audiences through a sonic journey time after time, delving into rhythm and energy through the realms of bass, breaks and techno. His influence in the music scene is underscored by a string of both local and international releases on renowned labels such as Extra Spicy, Fluxx, JADE (FRA), Durum Records (FRA) and Everybody Trance (FRA), just to name a few.

Eben Ejdne’s musical roots trace back to his early life in the Netherlands, where a worldly perspective on music began to take shape. Growing up between Canberra and Melbourne, his exposure to different cultures and sounds became the catalyst for his unique approach to music. In the vibrant student scene of Canberra, Ekzander found his passion for DJing ignited.

A teenage connoisseur of Jazz, Soul, and R&B, with classical training in piano and cello, Ekzander naturally gravitated towards the expansive world of music production, initially exploring house and techno. In 2020, the artist returned to Melbourne, signaling a pivotal shift towards a renewed focus on production, resulting in his inaugural release under the Ekzander project.

As the year comes to a close, Ekzander’s trajectory is set ablaze with anticipation, as a slew of exciting releases with both local and international labels are on the horizon for 2025.
