William Howard’s suki project is a name that embodies love, unity, and the transformative power of music - contributing in abundance to the ongoing global evolution of trance, techno and house music. A native of the renowned Naarm (Melbourne) electronic scene, William is a DJ, producer, live performer and co-head of both Dolphin Flips Records and Weaver Agency, having begun his musical journey with a mission to explore the fusion of genres and support emerging artists.

Since his debut release under the suki moniker in 2018, William has continually expanded his horizons, incorporating elements of acid, jungle, dub, techno, tech house and psytrance into his releases on Butter Sessions, Dansu Discs, Holding Hands and Shall Not Fade, as well as his renowned Bandcamp series ‘anyoneknowsuki’ , which has amassed thousands of supporters for the project.

 

With an insatiable appetite for music, he's a dedicated record collector with a penchant for classic, deep, and minimal tech-house, UK speed garage, breakbeat/electro, dubstep, jungle and hypnotic techno - drawing considerable inspiration from his transformative experience at the Freqs of Nature festival in 2018.

As DJ Huntsman, his eclectic selections often weave in classic prog trance, goa, and forest psy, creating a unique blend of trance that sets dance floors ablaze. Pairing this with the influence of jungle, and you have the origin story that culminated in the birth of his Sniper1 project, which showcases William’s versatility and passion for music via records on Holding Hands, Dolphin Flips and the late 2024 VA release by Weaver.

The COVID lockdowns brought live shows to a standstill, but consequently ignited a prolific period of creative output for William, who launched the 'anyoneknowsuki' Bandcamp series, releasing four dynamic 2-track EPs between 2019 and 2022.

In 2021, he made the creative decision to pair his aforementioned suki & Sniper1 aliases for a “collaborative” debut EP, Rhythm Export, released on London's renowned Holding Hands Records. The record was a global sensation, selling out in a matter of weeks and becoming a coveted item on Discogs. Subsequently, both suki and Sniper1 embarked on solo EP releases, with suki releasing on bedrock Naarm label Butter Sessions and Shall Not Fade, whilst a Sniper1 did so on Dolphin Flips Records.

Following a 2023 landmark performance at Pitch Music & Arts festival, and a debut European tour, 2024 has seen the suki project travel the world, taking him to India, Singapore, France, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands for stand out shows at some of the best clubs in the world. The recent Europe tour brought exciting b2bs with Hannah D at Evasion Festival and OHM Berlin, then joined by Mabel for a spectacular 5- hour performance between the 3 of them for HORS-SOL Festival in the south of France.

In November of 2024, suki debuted his LIVE performance, where he showcased 60 minutes of unrelenting energy encapsulating the sonic exploration of his project thus far - which he looks to take on the road in 2025.
